Edna has been a regular student at the Workshop for a year and has been learning many techniques whilst working on a major project – a large flower pendant 8cm in diameter made in fine silver with 18ct yellow gold. Edna has used etching to create a fine detailed pattern on the petals which are riveted in place, and oxidised the background to create dramatic contrast for the gold. Now that the pendant is completed she is creating a harmonising chain for it to hang on. So watch this space…..!
